1. Mask-Free Electro-Addressable Localization of GOx@ZIF-8 on Prussian Blue Microelectrodes for Glucose Biosensing.
1. 无掩模电寻址定位GOx@ZIF-8于普鲁士蓝微电极用于葡萄糖生物传感PMID:日期:2026-10-05Precisely integrating MOF powders into patterned electrochemical devices remains a processing challenge, as conventional methods often require masks, manual alignment, or poorly scalable steps and can lead to non-selective deposition and inefficient material use. While electrophoretic and dielectrophoretic deposition methods for particulate materials and GOx@ZIF-8/Prussian Blue (PB) glucose biosensors have been reported independently, low-volume localization of enzyme-loaded MOFs directly onto active microelectrode transducer regions remains challenging. Here, we develop a mask-free, DC-field-assisted microdroplet strategy that selectively localizes GOx@ZIF-8 onto PB-modified interdigitated electrodes (PB@IDEs). The approach uses only 12 µL of GOx@ZIF-8 suspension and, unlike random drop-casting, preferentially confines the biocatalytic MOF to the PB transduction interface, minimizing inactive deposition and improving enzyme utilization. The resulting Nafion/GOx@ZIF-8/PB@IDE biosensor exhibits reproducible spatial localization and approximately threefold higher sensitivity, together with a lower limit of detection, than an otherwise identical drop-cast electrode. The sensor shows a linear amperometric response over 24-175 µM glucose concentration, overlapping concentrations relevant to sweat glucose analysis. These results demonstrate that electro-addressable placement of enzyme@MOF particles can improve reaction-readout coupling while reducing biocatalyst consumption.

2. {"_":"Beyond Cathode Hosts: The Multifaceted Utility of MoS in Next-Generation Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries.","sub":["2"]}
PMID:日期:2026-10-05Aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) are promising next-generation energy storage systems due to their intrinsic safety, cost-effectiveness, and environmental compatibility. Recently, molybdenum disulfide (MoS) has attracted significant interest as a promising material in this field, owing to its large interlayer spacing, tunable electronic structure, high mechanical flexibility, and excellent electrochemical stability. These unique properties enable MoS to serve not only as a high-capacity cathode but also as an effective interfacial modifier for anodes and a functional component in electrolytes, effectively addressing key challenges such as dendrite growth, side reactions, and sluggish kinetics. This review systematically summarizes recent advances in the application of MoS across cathodes, electrolytes, and anodes in AZIBs, with an emphasis on the underlying mechanisms by which modification strategies, such as defect engineering, interlayer expansion, and composite engineering, regulate electronic structure, accelerate ion transport, and reinforce interfacial stability. Finally, future research directions are proposed, focusing on rational design and synergistic multifunctional integration.

3. Circular 4D Printing of Multi-Functional Polymers.
PMID:日期:2026-10-05To overcome the irreversible cross-linking and constrained performance in conventional 3D printing materials, we propose a molecular design strategy integrating dynamic covalent bonds and polymerizable carbon-carbon double bonds for 4D (4-dimensional) printing. Using programmable cardanol-based polyurethane acrylates with dynamic hindered urea bonds, this system enables rapid network formation for high strength while polymerizable carbon-carbon double bonds relieve stress and balancing rigidity, toughness, and self-healing. The system was integrated into an additive manufacturing process, thus enabling the creation of 3D parts that transform in response to external stimuli over time (i.e., 4D printing). These 4D-printed parts exhibits excellent processability via digital light processing, allowing the fabrication of complex architectures. Upon exposure to appropriate stimuli, they demonstrate integrated functionalities including shape memory, thermochromism, and information encryption. Critically, the reversible urea bonds allow mild chemical degradation and closed-loop recovery of selected raw materials, with recovered resin maintaining printability and functionality. The material also demonstrates notable photothermal conversion. This work provides a sustainable strategy for high-performance, 4D printing in flexible electronics and anti-counterfeiting.

4. Rapid and Efficient Affinity Isolation of Engineered Extracellular Vesicles Encapsulating Functional Proteins via Internal Twin-Strep Tetraspanin Tagging.
PMID:日期:2026-10-05Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are mediators of intercellular communication and promising protein-delivery vehicles, but isolation of sufficiently pure, intact, engineered EVs remains challenging due to abundant cellular and serum-derived contaminants. Here, structure-guided engineering of the canonical EV tetraspanins, CD63 and CD9, is applied. Permissive sites for the internal insertion of the twin-Strep tag are identified within unstructured regions of their large extracellular loops, using flexible linkers. This design preserves scaffold functionality and enables efficient antibody-free affinity isolation of intact EVs using Strep technology. Fusing proteins of interest (POIs) to the C-terminus of these scaffolds, either directly or via the photocleavable protein PhoCl, enables efficient luminal POI loading with optional optogenetic control of POI release. Proteomic analysis confirms high purity of isolated EVs with more than 96% of contaminants removed, allowing sensitive detection of possibly novel EV-associated proteins. Additionally, this approach effectively removes hepatitis C virus, which has EV-like biophysical properties, and adeno-associated virus, demonstrating high specificity. Vesicular stomatitis virus glycoprotein coating of EVs facilitates endosomal escape, while PhoCl cleavage enables POI release after EV uptake by target cells, including primary human hepatocytes and hepatocyte-like cells. This strategy provides a broadly applicable platform for producing intact, pure engineered EVs for basic and translational studies.

5. Atomic-Scale Control of Substrate-Spin Coupling Via Vertical Manipulation of a 2D Metal-Organic Framework.
PMID:日期:2026-10-05Two-dimensional (2D) materials with frustrated crystal geometries can host strongly correlated electrons, potentially leading to a range of exotic many-body quantum phases, such as Mott insulators, quantum spin-liquids, and Kondo lattices. The ability to control exchange-coupling within these systems is therefore highly desirable. Here, we use an atomically sharp scanning tunneling microscope probe to vertically manipulate a 2D Mott insulating honeycomb-kagome metal-organic framework (MOF) featuring Kondo-screened local magnetic moments on Ag(111). We show that by controlling the adsorption height of the MOF, we can also controllably and reversibly change the strength of Kondo coupling between the MOF's local spins and the substrate's conduction electrons. This mechanical control of Kondo coupling could be extended to other forms of interlayer exchange coupling, potentially allowing for atomic-scale design or control of spintronics technologies.

6. Buried-Interface Regulation of Crystallization and Charge Extraction in Perovskite Solar Cells.
PMID:日期:2026-10-04In n-i-p perovskite solar cells, the SnO/perovskite buried interface plays a decisive role in governing crystallization and charge extraction. Here, trisodium methylglycine diacetate (MGDA) is introduced onto SnO to regulate precursor behavior during crystallization. Molecular-dynamics simulations using PbI∙DMSO as a representative solvent-coordinated lead-iodide species show that MGDA increases interfacial precursor localization while restricting lateral motion and aggregation. This modified precursor state is accompanied by slower but more extended late-stage growth/reorganization during thermal annealing, leading to larger grains, fewer buried-interface voids, improved crystallinity, and lower residual tensile stress. The optimized devices deliver a power conversion efficiency of 25.50%, while 7 × 7 cm rigid and 5 × 5 cm flexible mini-modules reach 22.49% and 17.38%, respectively, with improved ambient-storage and thermal stability. These results reveal the link between interfacial precursor behavior, subsequent crystallization, and device performance, providing guidance for buried-interface design in perovskite solar cells.

7. {"_":"Air/CO Stepwise Induction of Fe Nanocluster Enrichment in FeMgAlOx Solid-Solution Catalysts for Single-Walled Carbon Nanotube Growth.","sub":["2"]}
PMID:日期:2026-10-04Solid-solution catalysts hold great promise as low-cost catalysts for the growth of small-diameter single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs); however, their catalytic performance is limited by low metal-site utilization and unfavorable interfacial structures in conventional architectures. Here, we report a facile design strategy for FeMgAlOx solid-solution catalysts featuring abundant active sites and enhanced interfacial structures that suppress nanocluster agglomeration. The successful synthesis of this catalyst relies on a high-temperature-induced two-step strategy: high-temperature oxidation enhances crystallinity, while high-temperature air/CO treatment facilitates the formation of strong metal-support interactions (SMSI) on inert metal oxide supports. In this architecture, the ultrathin two-dimensional morphology and ordered atomic arrangement promote active-metal spillover, yielding abundant active sites; meanwhile, CO induction significantly enhances the SMSI-mediated confinement capability for Fe nanoclusters. Crystalline evolution and SMSI regulation synergistically facilitate the exsolution of active Fe species from the bulk solid solution, thereby forming thermally stable Fe nanoclusters. Furthermore, optimized single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) growth kinetics confirm that the modified solid solution possesses both a higher density of active sites and enhanced intrinsic catalytic activity. Ultimately, our catalyst enables the growth of SWCNTs with diameters ranging from 0.96 to 3.33 nm, offering a simple and low-cost route for SWCNT synthesis with broad application prospects.

8. Halogen-Bond Dimensionality Controls π-π Packing to Unlock Ultrahigh Second-Harmonic Generation and Giant Birefringence.
PMID:日期:2026-10-04Compact all-solid-state lasers require nonlinear optical crystals that combine strong second-harmonic generation (SHG) with large birefringence, yet planar π-conjugated molecules often pack antiparallel, canceling their macroscopic second-order response. Here, we break this trade-off through dimensional competition between halogen bonding and π-π stacking in two nitroazole-based organic frameworks. The parent (IClPzNO)·HO forms a centrosymmetric two-dimensional framework with coplanar chromophores and a birefringence of 0.705 at 546 nm. Combined skeletal and halogen substitutional editing, from pyrazole (Pz) to imidazole (Im) and from an ortho-I/Cl to a meta-I/I substitution pattern, redirects in-plane hydrogen-bonding aggregation via relocating the N─H donor, and then extends C─I···O connectivity from two to three dimensions. The resulting halogen-bonded network governs chromophore orientation and produces a twofold-interpenetrated polar framework, (IImNO)·HO (Pna2). The crystal exhibits a phase-matchable powder SHG response 20 times that of KDP (KHPO), the largest value among five-membered-ring and nitro/nitrate NLO crystals, as well as a giant birefringence of 0.554 at 546 nm. To the best of our knowledge, this combination occupies a previously unreported performance regime. These results identify interaction dimensionality as a practical design parameter for aligning polar π-conjugated molecules and combining strong SHG with giant optical anisotropy.

9. Phytic Acid-Induced Oxygen Vacancies in Self-Supporting NiCo Metal-Organic Frameworks for Efficient Oxygen Evolution Reaction.
PMID:日期:2026-10-04The sluggish kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) impede efficient water electrolysis, motivating the development of robust, non-precious-metal electrocatalysts. Here, we construct a self-supported bimetallic metal-organic framework precatalyst (PAx-NiCo-BDC) through a two-step strategy using phytic acid (PA) for mild etching and multidentate coordination. This treatment introduces oxygen-vacancy-related coordination defects and regulates the precursor morphology. The optimized PA3-NiCo-BDC requires only 212 mV to reach 10 mA cm , exhibits a Tafel slope of 20.2 mV dec , and shows excellent durability, outperforming commercial RuO. An anion-exchange-membrane water electrolyzer employing PA3-NiCo-BDC delivers 1 A cm at 1.72 V and operates stably for 300 h. In situ Raman spectroscopy reveals that PA-induced defects enable the lower-potential formation of Ni-O-containing NiOOH-like surface species. Differential electrochemical mass spectrometry identifies the adsorbate evolution mechanism as the dominant OER pathway. Density functional theory calculations further show that defect-induced d-band-center modulation optimizes the adsorption and desorption of OER intermediates at Ni sites and lowers the OER energy barrier. This green coordination-engineering strategy provides a versatile route to efficient and durable MOF-based electrodes for practical water electrolysis.

10. Nanocomposite-Enhanced Iontronic Tactile Sensor With High Sensitivity and Wide-Range Linearity for Underwater Robotic Manipulation.
PMID:日期:2026-10-04Hydrostatic preload increases response nonlinearity and limits weak-force detection in underwater tactile sensing. Here, we present a nanocomposite-enhanced iontronic tactile sensor (NeITS) that combines high sensitivity with wide-range linearity through a coupled mechano-ionic mechanism. Hydrophobic SiO nanoparticles reinforce the ionogel, suppress premature geometric saturation, and sustain contact-area evolution, while pressure-driven interfacial ion enrichment enhances electric double-layer capacitance. The optimized sensor achieves a sensitivity of 55.36 kPa over a 500 kPa linear range, with response and recovery times of 50 ms. It resolves an additional contact pressure of approximately 2 kPa at hydrostatic preloads of 0, 93, and 116 kPa with closely comparable response amplitudes. A 4 × 4 NeITS array enables real-time pressure mapping and shape imaging. Integrated into an underwater robotic gripper, the array supports neural-network-assisted recognition of nine representative benthic biological targets, achieving a mean classification accuracy of 97.8% under temporally separated window-level evaluation. This work establishes a materials-level strategy for hydrostatic-pressure-tolerant iontronic sensing and advances tactile perception for underwater robotic manipulation.
